Website Development

Websites built to convert, not just to launch.

Fast, accessible, conversion-focused business websites on WordPress — designed around how your buyers actually decide, built with Core Web Vitals and accessibility handled during the build, and handed over genuinely editable.

What our website development covers

Your website is where every other channel sends its traffic. If it loads slowly, confuses visitors or hides the next step, everything upstream costs more than it should. We build marketing and business websites where structure, speed and conversion are treated as part of the design brief.

This covers brochure, service and lead-generation sites. If the identity itself needs work first, see branding and creative design. Online stores have different requirements — catalogue structure, checkout and product journeys — and are covered under e-commerce development.

What this fixes

Problems this solves

  • Slow, heavy pages — Bloated builds that fail Core Web Vitals and quietly lose mobile visitors.
  • Traffic that does not convert — Visitors arrive but the path to enquiry is unclear or buried.
  • Nothing can be edited — Every small change needs a developer, so the site goes stale.
  • Inaccessible to some users — Poor contrast, unlabelled forms and keyboard traps excluding real customers.

Who this is for

  • Businesses whose current site is slow, dated or hard to update
  • Companies investing in marketing that sends traffic to a weak site
  • Brands needing a site their own team can maintain
  • Organisations that need accessibility handled properly

How we work

How a build runs

STEP 01

Discover

Goals, audience, content inventory and what the current site gets wrong.

STEP 02

Structure

Sitemap, page structure and conversion paths agreed before any design.

STEP 03

Build

Design and development in reviewable stages, not one big reveal.

STEP 04

Launch

Testing, redirects, analytics and handover — then support after go-live.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Will I be able to edit the site myself?

Yes. We build with the WordPress block editor and reusable patterns, so normal content changes never need a developer. We include a handover walkthrough.

How long does a website take?

A focused business or service site typically takes 4 to 8 weeks. Content readiness is usually the critical path rather than build time — sites wait on copy far more often than on code.

Do you redesign existing sites or only build new?

Both. Where an existing site has SEO equity worth protecting we redesign carefully, preserving URLs and setting up redirects where they must change.

What about hosting and maintenance?

We build to run well on standard quality hosting and can advise on setup. Ongoing maintenance can be arranged if you would rather not manage updates internally.
