Justwebworld: building and growing a magazine of nearly 8,000 articles since 2012.
The website, its SEO and its social media, run as one long-term programme for an online magazine that covers 20 topics and offers more than 500 free online tools.

Case study
Project overview
Justwebworld is an online magazine that has published since December 2012. Today it carries nearly 8,000 articles across 20 topics, from people and sports to tech, money and travel, plus a library of more than 500 free online tools.
We built the website, and we run its SEO and social media. At this size, the work is less about launching pages and more about keeping a large, old archive accurate, crawlable and easy to find.
How we work together. Justwebworld is a long-term partner rather than a typical client. Harshil Barot, Apzom’s founder, has worked on the site since its launch in December 2012, and the work continues under Apzom Digital, which was founded in January 2025.

Results
Selected results from 2026
These are figures we measured ourselves during the 2026 work on the site, with the period for each.
| Measure | Result | Context |
|---|---|---|
| Bing-indexed pages | About 3,100 → about 7,900 | After we found and fixed a server rule that was blocking Bing’s crawler (August 2026) |
| Junk URLs in Google’s “crawled, not indexed” report | About 260,000 → 44,009 | May to August 2026, as attachment, feed, parameter and language URLs were redirected or removed at source |
| Orphan pages (no internal links pointing in) | 4,217 → 3,635 | Internal linking programme, 2026 |
| In-text internal links | 11,420 → 12,978 | Same programme, with zero broken internal links at the end |
| Outbound links to dead, expired or hijacked domains | 355 unlinked in 322 articles | Outbound link audit, September 2026 |
| “Last updated” dates | Corrected on 8,014 posts | So each date reflects a real edit, not a bulk save |
| Free online tools | 547 live, in 9 categories | Built and published as part of the site, 2026 |
What this page does not claim
- No headline traffic figure. Search traffic on a large magazine swings with the news. In the most recent month a single biography article drew most of the site’s clicks, so one number would misrepresent the site as a whole. We are happy to walk through the Search Console data on a call.
- No revenue figures. Advertising income is the publisher’s business, and we do not publish it.
- No follower counts. We do not have dated before-and-after social figures to show here.

Fact-checking, repairing weak or outdated articles, honest dates and safe outbound links.
04
Social media
Justwebworld’s presence on Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube and Threads.
The website
Justwebworld runs on WordPress with the SmartMag magazine theme and an Elementor homepage. Around it we have built the parts a large publisher needs and an off-the-shelf theme does not provide.
- One site plugin instead of many snippets. Twenty-three separate pieces of custom code were combined into a single plugin, so changes are tested and released in one place.
- A free tools library. 547 browser-based tools across 9 categories, including developer, encoding, number system, colour, random and name generator tools, each with its own page and explanation.
- Navigation ordered by what readers read. The 17-item category menu was reordered using real click data, so the topics people actually come for sit first.
- Numbers that match. Article counts on the homepage and About page were checked against the real archive and corrected wherever they had drifted.
SEO for a large, old archive
A site that has published for over a decade collects problems no single page shows. Most of our SEO work here is finding those problems and fixing them at the source, not adding more pages.
Unblocking Bing
Bing had stopped indexing new pages. We traced it to a server rule that answered Bing’s crawler with “too many requests” errors, while Google’s crawler was let through. Once crawler traffic was routed through edge caching, Bing-indexed pages grew from about 3,100 to about 7,900.
Removing junk URLs
Every image attachment, comment feed, translation parameter and language-prefixed URL was a separate address search engines could crawl, tens of thousands of them against fewer than 9,000 real pages. These were redirected to the right page or removed at source, and Google’s “crawled, not indexed” report fell from about 260,000 URLs in May 2026 to 44,009 by August.
Internal linking
We mapped every internal link on the site, then added in-text links between related articles and topic hubs. Orphan pages fell from 4,217 to 3,635, in-text links rose from 11,420 to 12,978, and the final crawl found no broken internal links.
Content quality
Readers and search engines both judge a magazine on whether it is right. With an archive this size, quality work has to be systematic.
- Fact-checking and repair. A full audit of the archive flagged articles that were outdated, thin or wrong. These are being rewritten and corrected in place, with more than 400 repaired so far.
- Honest dates. “Last updated” dates had been reset by bulk saves. We corrected them on 8,014 posts and added a safeguard so trivial edits no longer change the date.
- Safe outbound links. Old articles pointed to domains that had since expired, been taken over or gone offline. 355 such links were unlinked across 322 articles.
- Real authors. The site’s eight editorial authors have bios and indexable author pages, so readers can see who wrote what.
Social media
We manage Justwebworld’s social media alongside the website and SEO, across Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube and Threads. Keeping all three with one team means the profiles, the site and the content plan describe the same publication.
Before you compare
What this means for your site
If your site has been publishing for years, the biggest gains are often hidden problems rather than missing content: a crawler being turned away, thousands of junk URLs, dates that say the wrong thing, links that now point somewhere harmful. Finding them takes measurement, and fixing them at the source stops them coming back.

Common questions
Frequently asked questions
What does Apzom do for Justwebworld?
We built the website and run its SEO and social media. That covers the WordPress platform and custom plugins, more than 500 free online tools, technical SEO, internal linking, content quality work and social profiles on seven platforms.
Is Justwebworld an Apzom client?
Justwebworld is a long-term partner rather than a typical client. Harshil Barot, Apzom’s founder, has worked on the site since its launch in December 2012, and the work continues under Apzom Digital, founded in January 2025.
How did Bing-indexed pages grow from about 3,100 to 7,900?
A server rule was answering Bing’s crawler with “too many requests” errors. Once crawler traffic was routed through edge caching, Bing could crawl the site again and indexed pages grew to about 7,900.
Why is there no traffic figure in this case study?
Traffic on a large magazine swings with the news, and in the most recent month a single article drew most of the clicks. One headline number would misrepresent the site, so we share Search Console data on a call instead.
Can you do the same for an older website?
Yes. We start with an audit that measures crawling, indexing, internal links, dates and content quality, then fix problems at the source. We will tell you honestly which fixes are likely to matter for your site.
Running a large or long-lived website?
Tell us about the site and what is holding it back. We will come back with an honest read on what is achievable, what it takes and what it costs.
