App Development
Apps built for real business use.
We design and build Android apps around how your customers and your team actually work: easy to use, fast, maintainable and connected to the systems you already run. Android is our focus today. We build in Flutter and native Kotlin or Java, and we publish to Google Play.
What our app development covers
App development at Apzom Digital means planning, designing, building, testing and publishing Android applications: apps your customers use, tools your own team uses, and MVPs that test an idea before a larger investment. Every app is built around a real business requirement, not a feature list.
Our app work is Android-focused today. We do not currently offer iOS development, and we say so before a project starts rather than quietly subcontracting it. If a responsive website or a web application would serve you better than an app, we will tell you that too. See website development and software development.

Who it is for
Who we build apps for
- Startups testing a product idea with a focused MVP before committing a full budget.
- Small and mid-sized businesses that want customers to book, order or stay in touch from their phone.
- Service businesses and field teams that need a simple internal app instead of paper forms and messaging groups.
- E-commerce businesses adding a mobile channel alongside their online store.
- Product and SaaS teams that need an Android client for an existing platform.
- Real-estate businesses sharing listings, capturing enquiries and arranging site visits on mobile.
What we build
App development services
01
Custom Android apps
Built around your workflows and your customers, not adapted from a template.
02
Customer-facing apps
Booking, ordering, content and account experiences that give customers a reason to keep the app.
03
Internal business apps
Practical tools for field teams and staff: data capture, checklists, job updates and reporting.
04
MVP development
The smallest useful version of your idea, so you can learn from real users before spending more.
05
Connected to your systems
Firebase for sign-in and data, or a connection to your website or software through an API we can also build.
06
Google Play publishing and upkeep
Signing, store listing, release management and Play policy setup, then updates and fixes after launch.
Technology
The technology we use
- Flutter and Dart for fast, polished interfaces from a single codebase.
- Kotlin and Java for native Android work where a project needs it.
- Firebase for authentication, data and app analytics.
- Back ends when an app needs one, built with Node.js and NestJS on PostgreSQL, or PHP and MySQL.
We choose the stack for each project and explain why. We do not list tools we do not use.
How we work
How an app project runs
STEP 01
Discovery
Who will use the app, what it must do and how success will be judged.
STEP 02
Requirements
Features, priorities and constraints agreed in writing before anything is built.
STEP 03
Architecture
Data, integrations and the right stack chosen for the job and for later maintenance.
STEP 04
UI/UX
Screens and flows designed and checked with you before development starts.
STEP 05
Development
Built in short stages you can see and test on a real Android device.
STEP 06
Testing
Functional, device and edge-case testing before anything reaches users.
STEP 07
Deployment
Release builds, store listing and Google Play submission handled for you.
STEP 08
Maintenance
Android updates, fixes and improvements once real users are on it.
Our own apps
Apps we have built and published
We design, build and publish our own Android apps on Google Play, from first screen to release build. Bubble Shooter: Bubble Quest (published under Apzom) and Color Ball Sort: Puzzle Quest (published under Justwebworld) are offline puzzle games our team designed, built, tested and released, including store listings, release builds and Play policy setup.
These are our own products, not client projects. Client app case studies will appear on our case studies page once clients approve publication.
Build and grow
An app still needs people to find it
We are a digital marketing agency first, so we plan how people will discover and use your app, not only how it is built. That can include the website and landing pages the app connects to, search visibility, and paid campaigns through Google Ads and Meta Ads. It is one team, so the build and the growth plan come from the same place.

Common questions
Frequently asked questions
How much does app development cost?
It depends on scope: the number of screens, the features, the integrations and how much back-end work is needed. Two apps that sound similar can differ substantially in effort, so we quote after a short discovery conversation rather than publishing fixed prices.
How long does an Android app take to build?
A focused MVP is usually a matter of weeks, and a fuller business app takes longer. We give you a timeline after scoping, once we know what the app must actually do, not before.
Do you publish apps to Google Play?
Yes. We handle the release build, signing, store listing and the Play policy forms. We recommend publishing under your own Google Play developer account so the app and its listing belong to you.
Do you build iOS apps?
Not at the moment. Our app development is Android-focused today, and we will tell you at the start if your project needs iOS.
Can you maintain or improve an existing Android app?
Often, yes, if it is built in Flutter, Kotlin or Java. We start with a code review so you know what state the app is in before any work is quoted.
Can the app connect to my website or business software?
Yes, through Firebase or an API. If your system does not have an API yet, we can build one as part of a software development project.
Can you build an MVP?
Yes. We help you choose the smallest version that tests your idea with real users, so you can learn before investing in a full build.
Who owns the code and the app listing?
You do. The source code, the Google Play listing and the developer account are yours, and we hand over everything needed to run the app without us.
Have an app idea, or a process that needs one?
Tell us who will use the app and what it needs to do. We will come back with an honest view of scope, timeline and cost.
