Our Process

How an Apzom Digital engagement actually runs.

Discovery, audit, strategy, implementation, measurement, optimisation and reporting. The sequence stays consistent; the depth of each stage varies by service and project size.

Why we work this way

Most underperforming marketing is not a talent problem — it is a sequencing problem. Work begins before anyone has established what is actually limiting growth, so effort goes into the wrong thing competently.

Every engagement therefore starts with finding the constraint. Sometimes that means the work you asked for is not the work we recommend, and we will say so before quoting.

The sequence

Seven stages

STAGE 01

Discovery

Your goals, market, margins and what a customer is actually worth. Without this, every later decision is guesswork.

STAGE 02

Research & audit

Technical, content, competitive and analytics review to find the real constraint rather than the assumed one.

STAGE 03

Strategy

A prioritised plan sequenced by impact and effort, with what we expect it to produce and by when.

STAGE 04

Implementation

Our in-house team ships the work in agreed stages. No silent outsourcing.

STAGE 05

Measurement

Tracking configured and verified so the numbers are trustworthy before we optimise against them.

STAGE 06

Optimisation

Iteration on what the data supports — testing, refining and cutting what does not work.

STAGE 07

Reporting & growth

Monthly reporting in business terms — leads, cost per lead, pipeline — with the next priority named rather than implied.

How this varies by service

A technical SEO engagement spends most of its time in audit and implementation. A paid media engagement moves quickly to measurement and optimisation because feedback is fast. A website build front-loads discovery and strategy because changing structure after launch is expensive.

The stages stay the same; their weight shifts. You can see how each service applies them on the individual service pages, and the reasoning behind our search work in the SEO methodology.

Common questions

About working with us

How long before we see results?

It depends on the channel. Paid media produces signal within weeks. SEO and content typically show early movement in 8 to 12 weeks and meaningful commercial results in 4 to 6 months. We set expectations per service rather than promising one timeline.

Do you always start with an audit?

Almost always, because recommending work before understanding the constraint is guesswork. For small, well-defined projects the audit is proportionally short.

How often will we hear from you?

Monthly reporting as standard, with contact during active implementation as the work requires. You deal with the people doing the work rather than an account manager.

What if the work is not producing results?

We say so, explain why, and change approach. That conversation happens in the monthly report rather than being avoided until you raise it.

Ready to find your actual constraint?

Most engagements start with an audit. Tell us your situation and we will tell you where to begin.
